Somatic Regeneration:
A Maasai Girls Initiative
Trauma Healing, Cultural Regeneration & Community Water for Maasai Girls
We are Seline and Mar
We met in Kenya 2024. Seline shared her story, she is a Maasai woman who suffered FGM but was able to study as a kid in Naning'Oi Girls School. After she graduated college this school was about to be closed and she came back to advocate for the girls. She shared how important professional trauma support is for girls who run away from forced marriages and their families in order to attend school, and that conversation became the beginning of this project.
Vision
We are launching a holistic initiative that integrates:
  • Trauma-informed psychological support
  • Transformational somatic practices
  • Cultural immersion and exchange
  • Regenerative agriculture
  • Construction of a $30,000 community water well
This project supports Maasai girls who have escaped FGM and early marriage, helping them heal, rebuild dignity, and become future leaders — while strengthening their land and water security.
Somatic Healing & Safe Spaces
The Challenge
This girls escaped child marriage and fgm to be able to study. Most of them left their families and some risk their lives just to go to school as it is not something easy available for Maasai girls.
Untreated Trauma
Girls who survive violence carry untreated trauma which they can pass on.
Limited Resources
Mental health resources are limited or nonexistent.
Water Scarcity
Water scarcity forces girls to dig for hours daily.
Environmental Stress
Environmental stress impacts food security and resilience.
Without systemic intervention, trauma and survival stress repeat across generations.

Our Integrated Solution
This initiative operates in three interconnected layers:
Monthly International Psychological Consortium
We are convening a global network of psychologists and somatic therapists who:
  • Meet monthly for supervision and case discussion
  • Co-design culturally adapted trauma-healing programs that can be replicated
  • Support 10–20 trained local advocates
  • Build long-term community capacity
The focus: body-based trauma healing. and culturally rooted practices.
Empowerment & Voice
Applied School-Based Healing Program
At the Nashipai Protection School, we implement:
Somatic regulation practices
Art, beadwork, and storytelling integration
Safe dialogue circles
Self sufficiency through regenerative agriculture and water well
Healing becomes embodied, culturally meaningful, and sustainable.
Water Security & Daily Resilience
Core Infrastructure Goal: Community Water Well
Funding Target: $30,000 USD
Currently, girls spend hours digging holes and carrying water.
The well will:
Provide safe, accessible clean water
Reduce physical strain and health risks
Free time for education and healing
Enable expansion of regenerative agriculture
Strengthen food sovereignty
Water becomes the foundation for psychological and ecological regeneration. Here you can see the scope of the project.
